Snorkeling Trips on the Mongoose

 

 

 

ScubaTech offers daily Choctawhatchee Bay snorkeling trips to the East Jetties or the Grass Flats. Which site we go to depends on which have the best conditions at the time. Charter times do vary daily due to the changing tide schedule. The snorkel trip is approximately two and a half hours long and includes all the snorkeling equipment you need. ScubaTech provides the finest in snorkeling equipment with professional dive mask, dry snorkels, fins and snorkeling vest for your safety.

Some snorkel trips also include the ever popular "Try SCUBA". For information on the "Try SCUBA" program please click the instruction tab on our home page. When "Try SCUBA" classes are also on the trip, the charter may be as long as three hours.

SCUBA Diving Trips on the Sea Cobra

 

 

 

 

Our most popular charter is a 4-hour 2-dive trip to Destin's Natural Limestone Ledges, Wrecks and/or Artificial Reefs. The first dive is generally a Natural Limestone Ledge to depths of approximately 87 to 90 feet and about 3 to 10 miles from the Destin East Pass. The second dive could be something shallower such as the Miss Louise tug boat, one of several Barges or Destin's Bridge Rubble with depths being in the 55 to 70 feet range.

Check-in time for Sea Cobra dive charters is 1-hour before trip departure time at ScubaTech dive store. Please be ready to present your certification card and dive experience prior to charter. On completion of the required paperwork and having secured any rental equipment needed you will then proceed to the Sea Cobra docked at the marina across the street from ScubaTech.

 

* 4-hour 2-dive trip $80 + tax per person. Tanks, weights and any other equipment is not included.

* Please note that the Gulf of Mexico does not usually offer visibility necessary to be able to guide a whole group of divers as in the Caribbean. So if you have never dived in the Gulf of Mexico, been to 90 feet or dived in somewhat limited visibility, we will ask that you hire a DiveMaster to dive with you to ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable experience.

 

* DiveMaster fee is $25 per diver for both dives.
